Registration
To use the Web Site you must first fill out the registration form brought up by clicking on the link "REGISTER" on the right. Please use separate registrations for each member in your household over 18 years of age. Children may be registered, with the permission of a parent or guardian after an examination by a Pediatrician

On the left side of each page are a series of links tied to specific Sections for Women, Men, Seniors and Children. View them all to see the advantages for the whole family. Under Programs there is a list of the most common illnesses and physical conditions that could substantially affect your good health and lifestyle. Clicking on these links will take you to specific pages describing the effects of these conditions and how to detect symptoms of such illnesses. Please contact us for advice on how to prevent, when possible, the advance of these illnesses before they become more difficult and expensive to treat.
                            
At the bottom of all the pages are links to keep you in Contact with us, request Consultations, browse the Health Store, Articles of interest related to your health and a Forum link for us to receive your comments and suggestions for a greater satisfaction using the Web Site.

Consultations
If you feel a discomfort and suspect an illness coming please send us an e-mail to

describing your symptoms.  In a short period of time, a qualified professional will answer you asking for further information and will then forward your reply to one of our Doctors in your area. After reading your response the Doctor will contact you to get more information on your condition and schedule a check up at his office, where he will provide you with a free blood analysis to determine your cholesterol and glucose levels. 

By clicking on the Professional References link you will get to the list of Doctors associated with The Wellness Group practicing in your area. This list includes a brief summary of these Doctor’s qualifications and addresses that will help you decide who is the most convenient for you and the become your Primary Doctor.

At the check up the Doctor will give you advice on how to keep well and probably give you free samples of medicine you may need. If the Doctor finds an abnormality, he (she) will inform us on the need to refer you to a doctor specialized in your problem. We will then contact this specialist who in turn will call you to schedule an in depth check up, and advise you on a treatment to follow.  The cost of these visits is normally covered by your insurance company so do not hesitate to visit any of the Doctors we recommend.  If you think your case is an emergency please call 911 and phone or e-mail letting us know the cause of your problem and treatment you received at the hospital. 
 

At the beginning your medical records will be kept by your Primary Doctor. Later, we intend to be ready for maintaining all your medical records at a safe location accessible to you via Internet for your review and comments.  With your consent, protected by your own password, we may forward your record to a physician or hospital that requires them.  This will provide doctors, clinics or hospitals with immediate information of your medical history saving precious time in case of emergency, avoiding repetitive forms when visiting more than one doctor, clinic or hospital, and, in general, save you time and money. Your privacy will be jealously guarded. 

The first two e-mail replies are free of charge. Afterwards they will be at a nominal cost of $25.00 per contact or $ 40.00 by telephone. After your check up, telephone consultations and doctor visits are chargeable at professional rates, most likely covered by your health insurance.

Health Store
Clicking on “Health Store” will take you to a page that offers for sale certain instruments to help you monitor your body’s performance such as Blood Pressure, Scales to read Weight and Body Mass Index, Kits to determine your Cholesterol and Glucose levels, important to detect potential heart attacks and diabetes. In addition there are food supplements to keep your body in good working order, small appliances we recommend to use at home for healthy food preparation, exercise accessories, books, CDs and DVDs on subjects of interest to your health.  

The Health Store products can be purchased at specialized stores, or directly from us. For purchases over $ 50.00 there will be no delivery charges. Lesser purchases will be charged a shipping and handling fee of $ 10.00.
