During pregnancy the mother must avoid strenuous efforts such as lifting heavy objects. Walking every day, on the other hand, is beneficial to keep the muscles toned and absorb greater amount of oxygen for two persons (mother and baby).
Proper health habits such as avoiding smoking and alcohol are very important for the good development of the baby inside the woman. After birth, avoid at all cost second hand smoke near the baby whose room must be isolated from all types of contamination. Once the bay becomes a young child who can walk and wash himself then the car against natural pollutants such as playing with backyard mud may be allowed because these promotes antigens useful to combat illnesses in adult life. A super sterile environment after age three is not advisable.
